Deutsche Hospitality recently signed an agreement for a new IntercityHotel in Rotterdam-Schiedam, which is expected to open by the end of 2025.

The 18-story, 283-key (including 20 long-stay units) new building will be the first IntercityHotel representing the brand’s “Next Gen” concept. It is aimed at travelers who are always “on the move” and appreciate good connections as they explore the city or hasten to their next business appointment – quick, flexible and convenient. The centerpiece of the new concept is “City Square”, an openly designed lobby ideal for meetings, working, eating and just experiencing. The rooms as “City Nest” are also fully tailored to the needs of guests looking for a cozy retreat.

Deutsche Hospitality already operates four hotels in the Netherlands, among them two IntercityHotels. Two more IntercityHotels are currently under construction in Breda and Leiden; the brand is also present in Germany, Austria, Switzerland and Hungary as well as in the Middle East.
