You know we love these iconic Mid-century hotels here at Rez.direct. So we are pleased to hear the Gran Hotel Monterrey in Lloret de Mar, on Spain’s Costa Brava will get renovated and adapted to the Meliá Hotels & Resorts brand and open as Meliá Lloret de Mar.

The hotel is expected to open in the second quarter of 2024, just in time to kick off the peak holiday season. The hotel will have 200 rooms, with various categories offered, adapting to each traveller’s needs and comfort. Guests will be able to enjoy quality gastronomy in an all-day dining restaurant and an à la carte restaurant, a bar and a pool bar, offering a wide variety of drinks and snacks and an exclusive vibe.

Guests checking into the new Meliá Lloret de Mar will also be able to enjoy impressive public areas and exceptional outdoor facilities. Guests can choose between two outdoor swimming pools or catch some rays on the sun deck or in the large green gardens. In line with Meliá Hotels & Resorts’ focus on wellbeing, the hotel will also feature a wellness area with a fully equipped gym and a spa, offering guests the best treatments.
