Airbnb Is Losing Its Appeal

Now residing in a quaint seaside town in The Netherlands’ southwest, I used to be an Amsterdam resident for 30 years. Long before supply chain woes, and construction slowdown, Airbnb had its impact on rising housing prices and waiting lists for rentals. Mom-and-pop vacation rentals have given way to corporate property management behemoths. What was once a sympathetic alternative to traditional hotels as “sharing economy” is quickly losing its appeal. Surface Mag seems to agree.
