A Casablanca legend is revived

The Lincoln Hotel, the oldest hotel in Casablanca and a prime example of the city’s Art Deco heritage, opened in 1917 and was designed by the renowned French architect, Hubert Bride. The building started an era that shaped several buildings of French Colonial, Neo Moorish and Art Deco styles in the heart of Morocco‘s economic capital. Shuttered since 1989 and with only parts of the – classified – façade remaining, the hotel is to be completely rebuilt. Not an easy task considering the plot is surrounded by several busy, pedestrianised shopping streets and a tramline running along the front on Mohammed V Avenue.

Scheduled to open early 2025, the hotel will comprise of 120 contemporary standard and superior rooms, as well as junior suites, restaurant, lounge bar, patio and fitness centre. In addition, the rooftop restaurant and bar will offer captivating views. The hotel is owned by REALITES, a French territorial development group and is to be operated by Radisson Hotels under its upscale Radisson Collection banner.
